The LCT grows on average 1-2 inches a year and tips the scale, frequently going into the 20 pound range. topping out with the world record at 44 pounds.

You pull up to the shore of majestic Pyramid lake, unload your gear into your 15' x 20' wall tent (complete with optional bar and cooking area). Rods, all ready for your arrival, you fish the evening of your first day followed by a delicious dinner prepared for you. Enjoy libations around a crackling campfire while discussing the afternoons catch and the monsters waiting to be caught in the days to come.

 Waking up before dawn, you go in search of your trophy LCT, while the smells of a hot breakfast and bold coffee fill the cool lake air.

 At mid-day we have a  shore lunch in gourmet fashion. Enjoy a fillet steak sandwich and ice cold refreshments accompanied by fly tying demos, casting clinics, Q&A, and the occasional bad joke. This is truly the most enjoyable way to experience Pyramid lake. It is three days of nothing but fishing, great company, and top quality service.

      The pristine waters of the Truckee river flow From Lake Tahoe CA, to Pyramid lake Nevada. It is home to some truly amazing fish, both native and stocked. The Truckee holds massive brown trout, rainbow trout, cuttbow (cutthroat/rainbow hybrid), mountain whitefish, and the occasional carp.

      Every technique will be a producer on this fishery including: tight lining pocket water, streamer fishing, dry fly, even late night "mousing". You are sure to find an epic fight on the other end of your line.

     Don't be fooled by the simplistic descriptions. The big T is a very technical river and has taken down many of the  best anglers.
